For my birthday weekend, I had the chance to spend some
time in Kingston, Ontario where my hubby and I enjoyed a lovely dinner cruise touring
the islands of the St. Lawrence River.
The 1,864 islands range in size from over 40 square miles to smaller
islands occupied by a single residence. I
was completely in awe of some of the beautiful and solitary homes perched on a
tiny island, surrounded by shimmering waters and nature's beauty. As the boat passed by these residences, I
became infatuated and started daydreaming of what it would be like to live on
an island. Well, it doesn't hurt to
dream.....
